VINE HAIR CARE

Whether wearing VINE LUXURY HAIR EXTENSIONS or any other brand, you will continue to SLAY in the hair game with proper care. If you follow these steps, your hair extensions will not only last longer, but they will maintain their natural look and remain healthy.

DAILY HAIR EXTENSION CARE

Brush Gently
Use a wide-tooth comb or a loop brush made for extensions.
Start from the ends and work your way up to avoid pulling.
Hold the base of the hair where the extension is attached to reduce strain.

Keep Extensions Tangle-Free
Brush 2–3 times a day.
Tie your hair in a loose braid or ponytail before sleeping.

Avoid Excessive Heat
Use heat styling tools sparingly. Always apply a heat protectant spray before using any hot tools.

WASHING HAIR EXTENSIONS

Frequency
Wash 1–2 times a week for semi-permanent extensions.
Clip-ins should be washed only after every 10–15 wears.

Technique
Use sulfate-free, extension-friendly shampoos and conditioners. Gently massage the scalp and avoid rubbing the bonds or wefts. Rinse with lukewarm or cool water.

Conditioning
Apply conditioner from mid-length to ends (not near the roots or bonds).
Deep condition weekly, especially for human hair extensions.

DRYING & STYLING

Drying
Pat gently with a towel—don’t rub.
Air drying is best, but if using a blow dryer, use a low heat setting. Ensure bonds or wefts are fully dry to prevent mildew or loosening.

Styling
Avoid oily or alcohol-based styling products near the roots.
Use soft scrunchies or coil hair ties to prevent breakage.

Night Care
Sleep on a silk or satin pillowcase to reduce friction.
Braid hair or tie it in a loose bun or ponytail before bed.

ADDITIONAL TIPS

Avoid swimming in chlorine or saltwater with extensions, or wear a swim cap.

Schedule maintenance appointments every 6–8 weeks for semi-permanent extensions.

Don’t attempt to remove glued or bonded extensions at home—have a professional do it.
